Most people are familiar with the initial pop-up experience when using Google, and I would like to take this opportunity to share my observations on certain aspects of it. Additionally, I would greatly appreciate feedback from others who have encountered similar interactions.

center aligned google icon

As you can observe, this pop-up is designed with two columns: one for the icon and the other for the content/action. Both columns are vertically aligned at the center.

The Google logo whereas is aligned center to the right content, which to me looks misaligned and unbalanced.

What if it’s top aligned to that column?

Or aligned center to the right content?

Or it looks best as it is?

Share you opinion ♥

I would greatly appreciate hearing your thoughts on this matter. Please feel free to share your opinions and insights by leaving a comment below.

Update — 29 July 2021:

Recently updated security popover, now including a title. However, upon implementation, we noticed that the icon’s vertical alignment appears a bit off. In my opinion, aligning the icon to the top would be a safer and more visually appealing choice.
